Simple sources of renewable energy

We all have to contribute a bit if we want to curb the global energy crisis.

I don’t know about you, but I get annoyed when I hear about the seemingly infinite amount of problems that threaten our planet each day. It seems that all we ever hear about are the major changes that rogue scientists are attempting to solve this problem. I would rather hear about the little things that I can do everyday to help. So I’ve done a little creative thinking for your sake and mine, and have come up with a few basic methods of alternative energy that almost anyone can follow.

This may seem a bit transparent, but driving as few miles as possible is a great starting point. I hate hearing about solutions that are so difficult that they will never actually be done. But maybe, just maybe, we can all look for little and simple ways to carpool to reduce how much we drive our cars. Contribute to alternative energy by carpooling and leaving one of the cars at home. Or even better, look for every possibility to walk or ride a bike.

One of the easiest things you can do to help the energy dilema is to simply turn your lights off during the day. How often do you see an office and they have their lights on while free sunlight is streaming right through the window? Take a minute and look around your house and find some things that you can unplug. The chances are high that everyone reading this has a at least few small ways that they could reduce energy consumption each day. If you would like to reduce energy bills as well as save the planet, then you might want to consider getting off the grid by learning how to build solar panels The world may not be changed by one more order from the government, but it just might be changed as individuals do their part in helping find and use methods of alternative energy.
