Solar Panels In Action
Four 160 watt Kyocera solar panels in action, March 10, 2007 in southern Wisconsin. 11.5 hours of sunlight generated 4 kw’s of electricity…way enough to power the fridge, a dozen flourescent bulbs, the circulating pump for the radiant heat, the well pump and tv/radio for hours. And it powered this laptop and a video camera all day as well. The entire system was about 000. Everything here was bought at the Alternative Energy Store, at altenergystore.com. And I had to stand still for like 15 minutes to get in this video for half a second at the end!
thats the future get used to it

Whats the name of that part that measures the power produced..
10k and it doesnt power everything in your house, so it will only take 10 years to pay itself off. it cheaper just to turn out the lights and unplug electronics. do what i did nest to all your light switch put in a power switch in each room. if not in the room turn the power off to it. ive saved any where from 10 to 30 dolars a month.

Nice array, lots easier to clean n maintain than a roof mount.
Congratulations…..
I used solar power and cost is not a factor for me. I sometimes live in remote areas where power is not available. So its the only option. Its good to have a powered laptop in places with no electricity.
what would a good hail storm do to that thing?
How many volts per panel?
