On the program:- A federal judge in New Orleans has blocked a six-month moratorium on new deepwater drilling projects that was imposed in response to the massive Gulf oil spill.- Oil industry executives criticized President Obama’s six-month ban on deepwater drilling, in London today, saying the world doesn’t have enough other sources of oil to eliminate deep sea rigs. -Mayors from around the country gathered along the Louisiana coast to see environmental damage caused by the spill.- Denmark gives the green light to build one of the largest offshore wind farms in the world. www.cleanskies.com

Failed to provide adequate reasoning for the moratorium? Is that Judge crazy? How about the oil companies lying to us about being able to contain a blow-out? They should at least make changes in the well design, and incorporate something in that’ll seal it off. Something FOOL proof.

Actually I thought the same thing but they DID have, aside from 1 sonic device, standards. The problem was there was no over-site to make sure they were enforcing rules already in place.
Basically the judge ruled, that Jesus Obama does not have the authority to BAN DRILLING without going through congress. He is not all 3 branches of government and not a dictator that he thinks he may be!
PS – they were about to pack their bags and move to OTHER non-supervised countries to drill.
you should be finding ways to get all that oil out of the gulf to use it for energy. Thank God for Judges who actually work FOR THE PEOPLE!!!

Interior Department Secretary Ken Salazar vowed,
“I will issue a new order in the coming days that eliminates any doubt that a moratorium is needed, appropriate, and within our authorities,” Salazar said Tuesday.
